South Korean technology maker Samsung may launch a new smartphone with five cameras. Samsung released the Galaxy A71 in December last year.
This time they may release the A72 as a new version of the phone. For the first time, five cameras (Penta cams) are being added to Samsung’s new smartphone, according to the South Korean technology site The Elek.

Next year, Samsung may bring the Galaxy A52 model along with the Galaxy A72 smartphone. The Galaxy A72 model will have a 64-megapixel sensor as the main camera, The Elek reports.
It will also have a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, 8MP telephoto lens, 5MP macro and 5MP portrait camera.

Analysts expect Samsung to include a rectangular design to accommodate five cameras on their smartphones.
It will have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) facility. In addition to the five cameras on the back, the smartphone will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
While other features of the new smartphone are not known, it is expected to support 5-G network. The new smartphone may hit the market in the middle of next year.
Before Samsung, Nokia brand smartphone maker HMD Global from Finland has introduced a five-camera smartphone. HMD Global has added a Penta camera to a phone called Nokia 9 PureVio.
