Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has announced the launch of ‘Me Smartband 5’ and new smartphone ‘Redmi 9C’ for the first time in the wearable product segment of our country. The company has announced a new device for an online event on Tuesday.

The new entry-level Redmi 9C has a 6.53-inch large dot drop display. Its battery capacity is 5000 mAh. The Redmi 9C smartphone has a MediaTek Helio G35 Octacore gaming chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz.

The Redmi 9C handset has an AI triple camera with a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera that comes with an LED flash. There is a 5 megapixel AI selfie camera on the front.

The back of the phone has a textured design. It can protect from any kind of stains. It also has an artificial intelligence face unlock facility.

The phone has a microSD card slot with standby dual 4G support. There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Xiaomi authorities say wearable products are becoming a companion for consumers. For this reason, Xiaomi brought a new band in the country.

The Mi Smartband 5 has a 1.1-inch color AMOLED display, which is 20 percent larger than its predecessor. It is waterproof 5 ATM certified. It has 11 types of exercise mode.

Users will be able to choose the device of their choice in six colors according to their style from more than 75 dynamic displays. Physical M Smartband 5 will give the necessary benefits.

The device has a PPG heart rate sensor, which will give more than 50 percent accurate calculations than before. In addition to the heartbeat, you can get an idea of the amount of sleep or the level of stress.

It will have a power backup for up to 14 days on a full charge. Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country General Manager, Xiaomi Bangladesh, said, Redmi 9C has been brought in the budget smartphone category.

A new segment of products has been unveiled in Bangladesh with Mi Smartband 5. The Redmi 9C will be available in orange, blue and gray.

The 2GB RAM version will cost 10,999 BDT and the 3GB RAM version will cost 12,499 BDT.
